Learning proper swim stroke technique is essential for becoming a lifelong developed swimmer. Even the best Olympic athletes need to practice and fine tune their strokes. These practices need to be on going to successfully keep their bodies in shape and their swim performance up. Your little athlete needs conditioning, stroke development and practice to maintain their performance in the sport of swimming too. Keeping your child involved in swim lessons provides them with the skills and tools they need to achieve, up keep and advance in swimming and cardio-endurance exercise. These developmental swim lessons are designed to teach your swimmer everything they need to know to advance into a swim team environment with confidence and technique.
Technique & Distance Building: Frogs
This groups of swimmers should be able to swim a full length of Freestyle and back sculling for 25 yards each. They need to be comfortable in the deep end of the pool and have no problems jumping and attempting dives. Frogs swim program was created to give newly lap swimmers instruction and practice on developing stroke technique and endurance swimming. These swimmers are not yet ready for a swim team environment and are working towards building those techniques necessary to advance. Crocs program is a good substitute for children that are ready for swim team but are not able to make the necessary two day per week commitment for team membership or do not wish to swim competitively. To advance to swim team.
