Technique & Distance Building: Frogs
This groups of swimmers should be able to swim a full length of Freestyle and back sculling for 25 yards each. They need to be comfortable in the deep end of the pool and have no problems jumping and attempting dives. Frogs swim program was created to give newly lap swimmers instruction and practice on developing stroke technique and endurance swimming. These swimmers are not yet ready for a swim team environment and are working towards building those techniques necessary to advance. Crocs program is a good substitute for children that are ready for swim team but are not able to make the necessary two day per week commitment for team membership or do not wish to swim competitively.
