Swim Fanatics Swim Club constantly thrives to become better, we are always accepting new swimmers year round and making changes to the facility to satisfy our swimmers needs. In order to become the successful club we strive to be, we need your help!
There will be at least two fundraisers throughout the year where the proceeds will go to making our facility and team function in the best way possible. We ask that swim team members and families to attend these events in order to help benefit our program. Also, showing to these events creates great team spirit, relationship building and of course tons of fun! We would love if each family involved on the team raise at least $200, if you are unable to attend our fundraising events you may fill out a fundraising opt-out form and write a check. Check out our calendar to see when our next fundraiser is!
Swim Fanatics Swim Club will also be doing at least two fundraisers to raise awareness and research funds for lung cancer. Lung cancer awareness and research is our fundraiser of choice to honor Alicia Riddle who will always have a place in the heart of Swim Fanatics. Alicia was a swim mom to swimmers Elizabeth, Katherine, Benjamin and Charlotte. Alicia Riddle was a kind and compassionate woman whose strong faith and courage carried her through her journey as she battled non-smokers lung cancer, her battle against the disease came to an end in June 2012. Swim Fanatics Swim Club is devoted to annually supporting Free to Breath and The Riddle Family.
Our first event will be to join as a team to raise money for the Free to Breath event on November 10th2012, which will be held downtown Greensboro. We ask that swimmers register under our team “Alicia’s Pool Pals” as an individual. If you are unable to attend the event you may still register solely to raise money for this amazing organization. We hope that this event will not only raise awareness and funds to support the research of lung cancer but to also bring our team together to support and honor the Riddle family.
